I have been to dozens of high tech job fairs over the past ten years. Techexpo has always been a class act with a good flow of candidates who are well qualified. The candidates are screened for security clearances prior to admittance which saves our recruiters time from speaking with unqualified candidates. Other job fairs admit anyone in even though they indicate only cleared people will be allowed. Techexpo is a first class operation which is professionally staffed with very helpful proprietors. The ambiance and the food is a cut above all other job fairs I have participated in.

Look no further…..Tech Expo has it all. They are the best of the best with candidates, staff and presentation. I have been attending these functions for over 14 years now and believe me it is by far the best on the market. I can always count on making hires when we attend these job fairs, usually 3 per event, but there has been events I have made 5 hires. It is a very welcoming experience for the candidates as well. Tech Expo is first class all the way, it only gets better with each event, which is unbelievable. The CIA IT component (Global Communications Services) participated in the AFCEA TECHEXPO in VA Beach this past June and it was extremely successful in finding quality and cleared IT applicants for one of our communications/IT positions. We met many qualified applicants for our Telecommunications Information Systems Officer position and many of these were actually interviewed in VA Beach in the days following the Job Fair. Numerous applicants have received job offers and are in processing now. What was unique for the job fair was the numbers if current and prior military (mainly enlisted) soldiers with experience in tactical and fixed LAN, Satellite Communications, secure radio, crypto/COMSEC experience. Many of these soldiers have served in war zones and are now looking to separate from the military. Starting with the CIA allows them to continue Federal Service and continue to serve our country in similar ways. The TISO position does not require a college degree. The TECHEXPO Job Fairs are managed very effectively and provide an outstanding resource for companies and the federal government looking for quality applicants.

The TECHEXPO Job Fairs are well advertised, organized and attended by candidates with high-level security clearances that are qualified and interested in searching for new opportunities. I am a Senior Recruiter who believes in investing where you get “results”. In my former Recruiting jobs (Unisys and L-3 STRATIS) we utilized Tech Expo for our cleared personnel; it equaled, results. I then joined a small business as a Recruiting Lead, where most of our non-cleared personnel – were often found on the job boards, referrals or as a last resort, an agency.
